The restoration process created the missing piece of the plate, gluing the pieces together, then hand-painting the design at the broken edges to perfectly match the plate.

The bottom of the teapot detached in the past and was glued by a non-professional restorer, using a glue that yellowed over time. Our restoration process removed the old glue, cleaned the surfaces and reattached the base plate. Then we repainted the golden
line.

This hand-painted bowl had black scratches which were removed carefully, without affecting the original paint. The bowl was then re-glazed with a food-safe glaze. This re-glazing protects the paint from further wear and tear.
